2006 ACHIEVEMENTS
Greetings
One Sister to Another Outreach Ministries, Inc. (OSTA) would like to thank all of our Partners, Members, Volunteers and church families for your support and generous giving in prayer, finances and attendance towards our standards for excellence during the year of 2006.
In the spirit of giving towards OSTA “Adopt a Sister” project for the Holidays, we were able to meet the needs of 21 women/sisters who are less fortunate.
OSTA gave thanksgiving dinners to five single women families and one single father raising his son alone.
OSTA donated a coat, hat, gloves, toiletries, socks and an inspiration book each to a total of 12 sisters. Many of these sisters are suffering from AIDS, Abuse and Abandonment. Your generous contributions made a difference in the organization but most all in the lives of the 10 residents of The Harriet Tubman Homeless Shelter. One Sister to Another partnered with Sisters4Sisters, Inc who developed this project, designed to address the needs of women in transition. This shelter is one of the places our outreach made a significant difference. Our visits to the shelter quarterly includes Fellowship, Deliverance & Prayer coupled with Friendship, Warm Hugs and Support for our sisters in transition.
Also, this Christmas season OSTA was able to assist Mission of Love with toys for children ages 7-11 and two single parent families residence of Prince Georges County and provided Fila tennis shoes and coats to two teenage boys being raised by their grandmother.
OSTA pray that God will continue to richly bless all of our Partners, Members, Volunteers and families in your future endeavors
