Greetings! 2010 Fall season is already here. As we enter into fall we should remember the holiday season is approaching and that we should help those that are in need. The bible instructs us to remember those who are not as fortunate as us.
"He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God."
"A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor."
By helping better others, you may end up bettering yourself in ways you never imagined. There are several ways you can help those in need but two below in particular we solicit for our holiday outreach endeavors.
If you are interested in volunteering or providing donations during the months of November and December outreach. Please contact OSTA Outreach at (301) 206-0540 or email administration@osta.us.

A financial management executive who, until recently, was Senior Vice President of Wealth Management at Allfirst Bank (now M&T Bank) in Washington, DC. Her primary focus was on providing financial management and estate planning services to the Bank's high-net-worth customers in the Greater Washington Area. Today, she conducts seminars, nationwide, on the topic of Financial Literacy-a topic about which she is passionate! She provides personal financial counseling to individuals (and couples) at all income levels, especially to our under-served populations. Mrs. Davis is a licensed provider of The Money Camp, a financial literacy program for kids, for teens and for adults.

Mrs. Davis, a native Washingtonian, graduated, with honors, from Howard University with a major in mathematics and statistics. She finished in the top 1% of her M.B.A. class at Stanford University and became the first minority in the Business School's then-48-year history to graduate with honors. Mrs. Davis also has a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from Golden Gate University, in San Francisco, where she received her class' Top Student Award. In 2001, she graduated, with distinction, from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University. Mrs. Davis is a former White House Fellow and served as Special Assistant to the Secretary of Labor.
What is your financial strategy?
As Ric Edelman wrote in his book "The Truth about Money":
"A financial plan must be periodically reviewed, with its assumptions challenged and altered based on changes in the economy and in your circumstances."
Have you reviewed your financial plan to make sure that your day-to-day finances are in line with your future financial goals?
Why Attend This Workshop?
During this 2 hour workshop you will learn to make your finances work for you and much more that can help you learn how to manage and payoff debt, and control spending. Most importantly this program will enable you to put a financial strategy in place.
One Sister to Another Outreach Ministry, Inc. goal is to help bring awareness to people in our communities and the importance of managing finances from day-to-day by setting future financial goals.
